Nickel 205 alloy is a created nickel alloy with properties like that of nickel 200 alloy. It exhibits excellent mechanical, electrical and erosion safe properties and great oxidation resistance. The composite is ferromagnetic underneath 360°C (680°F), and contains little additions of aluminum and titanium for a decent blend of mechanical and electrical properties. It is most commonly used for the anodes and grids of electronic valves, magnetostrictive transducers, lead wires, transistor housings and battery cases.
